Fremont Municipal Airport

The airport is owned by the City of Fremont with a 6,350 ft x 100 ft main runway capable of accommodating corporate jets. There are approximately 50 aircraft based here as well as a local chapter of the Civil Air Patrol. Fremont Aviation is contracted as a fixed based operator.

Funding

Any major improvements are 95% funded by federal aviation fuel taxes, 2% by state funds and 3% by local funding. Daily operational costs are covered by airport rental fees.
