Your votes will help them win $25,000 to teach people about disaster preparedness and increase community resiliency in Fremont. Winners will be announced November 30.
“Through community partnerships, we hope to offer programs, workshops, and resources on topics like weather hazards, emergency kits, family communication plans, and health information cards,” said Ashley Mueller, Extension educator. “Our whole-community approach to disaster preparedness is aimed to meet the needs of Fremont, engage and inspire a significant portion of our community, and make it a stronger, self-sustaining community. We need Fremont to rally around this cause and vote to bring the grant our way.”
