Did you know? Under Fremont Municipal Code Chapter 8, Article 7, property owners are responsible for maintaining trees and shrubs on their property, including those in the street right-of-way (ROW).
Property owners must dispose of tree debris and limbs in the ROW.
The City only removes debris from the street and places it in the ROW for owners to handle.
This ordinance has been in place since May 1965.
