The City of Fremont, in partnership with Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District, is hosting a community open house to discuss the Rental Rehabilitation Program. The open house will take place Tuesday, May 7 from 10 am to 2 pm in the east community room of the Keene Memorial Library. Interested property owners can stop by, at their convenience, to learn about the program and application process.
The Rental Rehabilitation program aims to assist property owners renting to low-income persons within the Fremont city limits. Property owners may be eligible to receive up to $40,000 with a 1:1 match requirement to make improvements to rental properties. Program requirements include tenant income and rent limits.
