Adaptive Recreation

Overview:
The Adaptive Recreation program is sponsored by the Fremont Parks and Recreation. 
This program is designed to encourage adults with special needs to participate in a variety of social activities.

Activities are held once a month, August through April and are offered at a nominal cost. Detailed registration flyers are available at the Fremont Parks and Recreation office. Register on-line at www.fremontne.gov or in person at 400 E Military Ave.

SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES FOR  2022:   Please note the specific times listed!                     

Jan. 13, 2022 -Thursday, (6:30-8:00pm) Cost $8.  Wildlife Encounter at the Friendship Center, 1730 W. 16, Fremont NE.  Come meet a kangaroo, armadillo, honey bear and boa constrictor and learn more about the Wild Life! Refreshments will be served after the program.

Feb. 10, 2022 -Thursday, (6:30-8pm) Cost $8. Valentine’s Day Dance, with Wayne Miller, at the Fremont Friendship Center, 1730 W. 16, Fremont NE.

March 14, 2022 - Monday, (6:30-8pm) Cost $5. MINUTE TO WIN IT NIGHT at the Fremont Friendship Center, 1730 W. 16th, Fremont NE.
