Adaptive Recreation

Overview:
The Adaptive Recreation program is sponsored by the Fremont Parks and Recreation. 
This program is designed to encourage adults with special needs to participate in a variety of social activities.

Activities are held once a month, August through April and are offered at a nominal cost. Detailed registration flyers are available at the Fremont Parks and Recreation office. Click Here to register online, or in person at 400 E Military Ave.


2022 Schedule of Events:


Monday, August 8th (4:00-5:30pm) Cost $10. Wildlife Encounter at the Friendship Center, 1730 W. 16th Street Fremont, NE 68025. Come meet a kangaroo, armadillo, honey bear, and boa constrictor and learn more about the Wild Life! Root beer floats will be served after the program.


Monday, September 12th (4:00-5:30pm) Cost $5. Fun to Begin Fall at the Friendship Center, 1730 W. 16th Street Fremont, NE 68025! We will start out with Make Your Own Sundaes followed by Chair Volleyball and Wiggle Bingo!
