Adaptive Recreation

Overview:
The Adaptive Recreation program is sponsored by the Fremont Parks and Recreation. 
This program is designed to encourage adults with special needs to participate in a variety of social activities.

Activities are held once a month, August through April and are offered at a nominal cost. Detailed registration flyers are available at the Fremont Parks and Recreation office. Register on-line at www.fremontne.gov or in person at 400 E Military Ave.

SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES FOR  2021:   Please note the specific times listed!                                                                                                      
Thursday, August 26, 2021, (6:00-7:30pm) Cost $8.  Picnic at Davenport Park! (Linden and Ridge Road) Come for food, fun, games and fellowship! (In case of inclement weather-picnic will be held at the Friendship Center-1730 W. 16th)                    

Thursday, September 23, 2021, (6:30-8pm) Cost $5. Game Night at the Fremont Friendship Center, 1730 W. 16th. Basketball Hoop Challenge and Corn Hole will be outside, followed by snacks and then a group game of Chair Volleyball!

Thursday, October 21, 2021, (6:30-8pm) Cost $8 at the Fremont Friendship Center, 1730 W. 16th.  Happy D. Klown begins at 6:30pm, followed by our annual Costume Contest and Refreshments.
